There is a lake of Lotus they were swinging with the winds. The surface of the lake is full of rippling, and there are also many fishes swimming in the lake, even if water is muddy.

From the traditional China lotus has the image of clean, purity, and integrity.
This plant grows in nasty dirt but still make itself clean and elegant.

We try to express the character of lotus. In those days in Ming Dynasty, the furniture was solid and firm.
So we take the image of brace in the shape to link the upper and the lower parts. And for good-looking shape, we use the classical connection as our priority skill making this light
In this chair, the upper part of the arm looks just like a hat from governor in traditional China, and its back is a simplified image for a deer, both of which means power and fortune for the possessor.
